I'm working on a new sig.... I really like what I have done so far, except for the text needs to stand out more and I can't come up with anything that I like, any ideas? I'll post the psd here too.

That looks great! How's about a contrasting colored rectangle underneath just the text to make it stand out. Maybe reduce the rectangle's opacity to about 30%, add a drop shadow and maybe even round off the corners?
What game is the imaging from? |
You might try letter boxing it, and having the text in the letter boxing. The letter boxing should be some sort of color, along with a low opacity setting. Kind of like a tint or something.

It's from a mix of different Final Fantasy games E3. I'll play around with both of those ideas and see what I can come up with.
@Billybob3: LOL at your user title :D |
hmmm, how's that look?

Very.. very nice... I have to make one now... Hmmm.. Errrrr Must think....
|
cool, set as my sig now :D

Looking good! I think you've given a couple of us incentive to put something together now too. Between these and all the new smilies we'll have to wear sunglasses when reading the board now B).
All the best, E3 |
The sig background is excellent. Yeah I know, you have to work more on text, to match that outstanding background. Good Luck! :)

@ Sephiroth, very nice sig. As stated elsewhere, it fits in nicely with all your avatars. My not try putting a colored square across the sig in line with your text and setting the opacity to low. This will make the text stand out while still allowing you to see what is underneath. Have a look at Gog's sig to see what I mean.
