Falcom: You are correct. In fact, this has always been the case because MS had to be lenient with its legit customers. This meant it was fairly easy to pull a fast one on them.

Personally though, I don't know why you'd bother with any of this activation crap though. The thing I learned during the beta was that WPA can be flaky. The Corp version turns WPA completely off and that is how most of us prefer it.
