Thanks kamakazi. I wasnt trying to offend anyone. It was just a concern I had and I know. Its on the tv,in the paper,on the radio,on the street and being a combat veteran I have my concerns also. Ive seen the results of war up close and personal.

you my friend are not alone, I guarantee it. Monday I signed the parental consent for my eldest son to join the Army, I very well can't tell him no, when it was good enough for me, my father and grandfather, it is his choice and I am proud that he made it.

I would say that war is going to happen whether the US has support or not...it costs quite a bit of $$$ to send that many troops to the region. If this build-up is just a bullying tactic to get Saddam to fully comply, then it's a waste of tax payer money.
To quote: "I love the smell of napalm in the morning!" (as long as it's from a distance) :o |
Thank God the US has the back bone to stand up to these terrorist supporting states. Did we not learn anything appeasing the Germans in the 1930s? The only mistake I see is that the job was not finished in the first Gulf War.
I do not believe that Islam it self is the problem, just the leadership in these middle eastern countries. It seems any Palestinian that tries to live in peace is put against a wall and shot as a traitor-it's not as if they can vote Arrafat out-so it seems that throughout the region few of the people have a say in the political life of their countries.I know that would piss me off.It also seems clear that there is no moral equivalency between Arab terrorists and the Israeli soldiers trying to protect innocent Jewish civilians. |
