Thank Sephiroth. :)

This is what I got, when I tried using the "ThankYou"

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

The error returned was:

Sorry, you do not have permission to reply to that topic

Some usergroups are specifically not supposed to say thanks... :)

Really, I wonder if it was this thread you tried it in, maybe you can't use it in your own threads?

EDIT: OOOps, now when I turn pics on I see you changed usergroup. Congrats!

Ya, I sure wish my user group was still "annoying." That made me feel special, I even had my own colored name...but, I figured out the problem. You can't "thank you" your own topics. I was able to put a thank you on a different topic though.

billybob,

what topic did you get a permission denied error on? let me know and i'll try to fix it when i get time....

and you're welcome .unicorn :D

Maybe everything is working... Here is my new theory:
You just can't use the thankyourobot if you allready replied, or started the topic.

yep, you're right, i just tried, it's supposed to give you a message saying that, not sure why it's just giving you the generic error though

Can the bot be implemented in places where it is needed only, because I clicked the wrong button, instead of add reply I accidently clicked the bot. Can the link be moved away from the other buttons, perhaps to the other side or something.

Flanderz, I removed the Thank You post in question and edited your post.
