yea he just wants one that will do most things. i had an 8MB card laying around when i built my grandmother's computer and put it in hers, but it wouldn't play wheel of fortune, so i had to get a better card and it ended up being an ati rage 128 pro series (32MB). so he didn't want to get a crummy one then have to get a better one in a month or so.

here are the two i'm looking at:
kind of leaning towards the ati since it inclueds tv-out and dvi. i don't really think he will ever use those features, but they will be there in case he does.


edit: ok going to get the ati since i will be getting the case from the same spot. thanks for all your replies. also, closing this its getting ordered in just a minute and before it gets out of hand.
