I don't know you personally, but I was still saddened when I saw notice of your death on BetaOne's home page. There is enough dying going on right now in the world. I feel it was in very bad taste to make an announcement about someone's death, even if it was meant as an April Fools joke. And to post it on the home page?!

I feel I have as good a sense of humor as the next guy, but this very much diminishes my respect for this community and those who maintain the site. If your desire was to anger folks by your posting, then you have succeeded marvelously! I know apologies have been made by the person responsible for this, and I accept them.

But I would have expected more from BetaOne :(

martin meant it as a joke that only i was supposed to see.... didn't turn out that way though and it got blown way out of proportion before he realized i was offline, hadn't seen it, and had time to change it....

i didn't see it at all last night, so imagine the surprise i got when i woke up, opened outlook, and had an email from James asking if i was ok, i thought wtf? lol

anyways... april fool's jokes aside... thanks guys, time to go celebrate :D lol
