try this under xp:

start, run, cmd

format a: /F:720

You may have to use a DOS or Windows 98/ME boot diskette and do the format from a DOS prompt if FORMAT is not supported at the XP command prompt.

FORMAT A:/F:720

Just like in the other forum.
