thats interesting, thx. After shutdown & switchon InCd did a format of a CDRW ok, but Word/SP2 will not write to the CDRW, so i will try the nero utility. Thank u

Well I always reinstall when I install service backs. The final build that is anyways. No problems here. Good idea to update. Just might want to read that doc. going around that shows some common problems with sp1. I use to get a lot of them with previous builds, but now I don't get any. Guess they finally fixed it. Plus sp1 fixs a lot of bugs and holes.
Up to you of course though. You can always use system restore to roll back your system. ;) Take Care, Will |
yes, i am heading for a HD format etc , cause of a new m/board in about a month. Word2002 was ok before SP2 anyway, its a work of art really, and a new InCD version will surface in a few months i guess
