waiting that long would drive me crazy!

We just moved into a new home a few weeks ago, so I know how exciting and exausting that can be!
Well, at least you have a lot of time to pack up your things..

You can never dream of how much stuff you have collected, until you move. :p

I moved only once (from parents house to a house I had built of my own @ age 24) and that's enough for me. Been here for 11 years now, a wife, five kids, a cat & dog not to mention everything else if I ever moved.

:( I wouldn't want to think about the hassle that would all be to move. :D

@Alpine - Keep us posted on all updates. Moving can make for a very interesting thread, something always goes wrong. Hope you move goes better than most.

Tomorrow ( Wenesday ) The House Inspector is comming .....

I know B1 have members from around the world!!

Do you also need to have a inspector to check if the house is OK ?!
From where i am ( Quebec,Canada ) This is not a obligation .. but with that, if i dosen't still want the bcause to much probl, i just need to cancel the sell !!

I know where I live, Illinois, it all depends on how your buying. For example what type of loan your using and who it's comming from. Of course, if you have all the $CASH$ to buy it 100% and you wish not to have the house inspected nobody is twisting your arm... but it would be a good idea.

Over here we have surveyors who are supposed to check for subsidance and faulty wiring etc but i haven't met one yet who could spot faulty wiring if it jumped out and gave them a shock :D

Congrats Alpine, i hope you both have many happy years there :)

yes, spend the money and have it inspected; if there is anything wrong, then you can force the seller to fix it before you buy it, or have them reduce the price so YOU can have it fixed...

Congratulations Alpine. We moved house this year (January). It's a really exciting experienmce. You turn around to open something but it's not there  getting used to the setup is really cool. Hope you make a nice and easy move.
