I use both IE and Firefox..

Firefox I use for all my daily browsing since I don't have to be annoyed by various ads.

I used IE mainly for check my cc online when I was at school.. so.. I really don't have too much to use IE for. :(*sigh*

About the only diff I see in firefox is that you can't do things as far as security, (activex is disabled by default, and there is no chance of changing that) certian things like banking and such are not available to use. So you will need to use IE for that. Other than that Firefox is a very good browser to use.

Well I almost forgot - Since ActiveX is not in the program media playablity is also not very good. Reszing of media windows is not available. The only functions are the minimul. Some of the plugins for media content don't work. There are some pages that you go that will not allow you to view because of using firefox.

I know I based it all on activex, well my opinion is they should have a a smart activex system. Otherwards, Say you go to a site that requires it. A pop up comes up saying that there is activex and proceeds to ask you if you want to enable it for that site or not. If you say yes it adds the site to a safe list, if you say no it adds the site a block list. This way certian things will be able to work right. I feel the biggest problem firefox is having with certian sites is because activex is nto available. I know there is an extension you can download, but that does not work very well ...

Anyway, end of rant .. :)

Been using Firefox for about 6 months now; absolutely no reason to use IE ever, anymore, except for windows update, getting Hotmail from your MSN Messenger, and thats about it...I have no problem using Firefox for banking and credit cards stuff, so I am not sure why some of you feel you need to use IE for that....Am I missing something??

Besides, firefox is at least 20% faster than Ie, in both loading itself, loading pages, and web surfing..try doing some speed tests with both of them and see for yourself!

Firefox won't load from limited user account

I did a clean install of firefox (obviously from the admin account) didn't modify any settings in it, then logged out of admin and logged in as the limited (and default) account, I tried to open Firefox but it wouldn't load. I have experienced this problem before and restarting has always alleviated my problem, but this time, Firefox won't load AT ALL from a limited account. I have a Firefox entry in the task manager after attempting to open, and I am asked to end the process when I try to shut down.

That's the SAME EXACT problem I am experiencing at the moment. Although I didn't point this out before. I didn't know it was not my problem.
