Neowin is closed for now.

We don't have the capacity to support the type of site we have always wanted to bring to our visitors. Despite our best efforts we are still refusing our visitors and long term members the web site due to errors similar to "Server too busy"

Since Neowin will never be just another phpnuke or copycat wannabe tech site we would rather call it a day than continue to limp on our resources. So for now we opt for closure.

It turns out that Neobond and RedMak, creators of NeoWin, have a little side project on their hands. Hidden behing the public face of NeoWin, a sister site entitled NeoCum thrives on smut and solicited sex.

It would seem that Neobond and RedMak are quite pleased with their pornographic work, siting such things as "NeoCum - Facial Paradise online since August 1999" and saying "We have won the highest rating from Cbabes Erotic News!" while even further augmenting the fact with "Generating over a half a million visitors in less than a year, NeoCum! is truly the Place to be for *****!" and "Expect only the best at NeoCum! bringing you all the best Quality partners for your pleasure."

The following images are proof of the site's existence, so that it cannot be denied after Neobond and RedMak take down their NeoCum site, in the same fashion as they took down NeoWin.

As you can see, these two boys have been very "busy" with their naughty little endeavour.

As of right now NeoWin is down, while NeoCum remains. I guess we can all see where their priorities lie.

I don't think that running a pornographic site in addition to their NeoWin site is all that bad (or wrong). So what if they decided to focus on the MONEY MAKING (?) site as opposed to the non-profit site.

I haven't visited NeoWin in quite a while anyway...besides, the notice says that they will be back.

A porn site caters to a different crowd than a news site so I'm really surprised that there has been this big deal about them not allowing porn on the NeoWin site.
