I got another tester who can even log on but he has tested with other friends' server and he has login OK. Can U advise which client you are using ? Tks a lot

Tks for your effort, I am on cable modem and one other tester has successfully uploaded and download file . I am asking him which cleint is he using but this should be the issue. I am quite puzzle by it. One moment. I thought I can sleep better to-day but then may not be so :(

I tried a few minutes ago using FlashFXP 3. I had no luck, my log is here:

Line 4 is interestening. When servers don't work you most often gets "Connection refused" or "Connection timed-out".

I got the same result using www2ftp.

I can log in with..UltraFXP...FTPRush...and SmartFTP. either way...anonymous or tester

Another tester has advised me that he has used SmartFTP, UltraFtp and FTPRush all can access the server for upload and download. The login name and password for "tester" is "tester". Same as "anonymous" user has "anaonymous" for password.

Tks for advise, May I ask why when I am testing with my freind, I can upload , using WS_FTP client ,to his server and he only have port 21 open only. In my case, I have both 20 and 21 open, he can come in and that is all. He can't list the directory althought I have assigned the same right as "tester" account to his account . If he login as "tester", he cannot list directory at all. This really puzzle me as you are only one that worked so far.

I haven't changed any setting after your success. Please advise

Have to connect to you passive, port won't list.
Anymore when I know another server is behind a router too, I use FlashFXP...UltraFXP..or FTPRush. UltraFXP and RushFTP automaticly adjust for fact both behind router. FlahFXP have to check the tab IPMasq. Usually when running standard port [21] that doesn't matter but seems to on yours. Doesn't account for the fact others can't even find you. Thing that gets me is you only forward 20 and 21 and I'm able to connect passive and pull port 32948.

Any way, have no problem connecting, downloading or uploading.

I was now able to login (tester/tester) and also uploaded a little picture with no problem. Seems as you have solved the problems.
