I installed 2162 over 2149. So far the only thing is that the Update site says "error".

Installed 2162 after taking out 2149 and I don't have any problems .... so far.

Even tried downloading from majorgeeks and did not see the 'little bar' that Will talks about.

just try to uninstall it mike. it's not a complete success but you can then restore your system to an earlier restore point :)

i tried, but couldnt reboot after uninstalling..
its easier to restore from Acronis image..back in business in just 2 1/2 hours..
I put 2149 back on, as that has worked flawlessly for me..

Hi Will, I don't get that Yellow Bar! I wished I did. I can't download any file from IE and on top of that, the link does not get forwarded to FlashGet (download manager) which really infuriates me.

IE opens a blank window like this, instead.

Hopefully v2162 will fix this, which I am downloading right now.

Thanks,
McoreD

Hi Will

Apologies to you ........... and yes, I do get what you show.

I misunderstood because I have been to a few websites where I get something very similar and just thought that was normal.
