Seems that the OS detected an out of correct place entry point for the partition.
Do you have an antivirus to do a full scan ? Maybe you have just an intermittent HD failure or a virus relocated your real MBR. :wacko: |
Just wanted to clear something up, 640 does not mean it's a volume license. The first number represents the type of install, the second number is for something else...
For volume license, your pid should begin with 22574 i *think*, im in win2k now so i cant verify the number but you get my point. -gosh |
Got it! I had to use the Win2K CD to delete all partitions but c: Once I did that I was able to use my Western Digital HD tools to do a low level format.
After spending 4 hours to write all zeros, all boot options returned, 9x start disc/XP/Norton/Super ERD/etc. What a bitch,eh? |
