No, unfortunately my system restore is turned of. Wanted to save a litlle disk space. Very clever of me, isn't it. Trust me, after a format I won't turn it of again.

I have the same problem in both IE and Firefox.

As to using XP repair disk; I will give that a go.

What happens if you restore the backup of your spyware remover programs?

Voodoo - Did you figure out the problem? Did you try the WinXP repair?

Oops...hit the wrong button.

Anyway, I had a similar problem with my Logitech MX900 mouse. I tried everything from rolling back the drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling, and restoring. Neither solved my problems.

My solution was to format and reinstall windows. I kept the original drivers and have had no problems since.

Problem solved!!!!

I did a regsearch for "wheel" Came up with a few "wheelscrollLines" entries with a value of 1. But I found one with a value of 0. (Sure whish I knew how that one changed to a zero.) Changed it to one and rebooted. Now I can scroll again.

Not 100% sure if this is what solved my problem but I think so. Tinkered with some more spyware stuff as well.

Thanks for all the help. Much appreciated.
