Not sure of the origin Will but it was a torrent download.
But oddly enough the eula states 180 Day License

I think quite a few betas from MS used the standard beta license, permitting you to evaluate it for 180 days, however not all of them actually enforced the licence. Generally if winver doesn't report an expiry date, Windows won't expire.

That said, clicking on eula after running winver brings up 180 day license. I'll set my date ahead shortly and report back.

*** As I type this, my machine is set 1 year ahead. So the bottom line is that although the eula says so........there is no timebomb in the 2149 that I used. ***

i cant imagine that this release will be the latest/final one, so 180 day time bomb wont even come into play..IMHO..

I ran nt and it found nothing for the 180 days as well.

It hasn't been since the earliest beta's and i don't think it was even detected in the pre beta builds. The only AV that i have seen reports of being detected was McAffee. certainly norton, panda, and NOD don't get detected- have tried them all. Not sure why but MS seem to like McAffee.........
I'm not sure, but I think MS have a licencing deal with McAfee??
