Here we have cable, 2/0.4 Mb or ADSL 512/400 Kb. Our neighbours can choose VDSL, 10/10 Mb. One mile (1.5 km) to the north you can have VDSL 26/26 Mb.

I don't vote for the cable company.

ummm i've had both didn't have a problem with either, i would say its mostly dependent on your isp and how much of a my love muffin they are heh. but right now i have 4mb/s cable and i'm quite happy with that.
