Thanks for the Tips & Reg Files.....

Just a couple of Questions....Do you run the

networkboot & Speed_Sharing_Up On both Networked PC's or just one of them.....Also which one is better, or do you recommend trying both.....???

Run both, they are different. I run it on both computers just to be sure. It should not hurt anything.

Um what os are you running on both computers. I always run the same, for now winxp pro.

Will

Hi there Will,

I applied the networkboot.reg and the installed the Speed_Sharing_Up.inf in the P4 and restarted.

Everything works as normal now. Thank you very much for your help. :)

(However when I restart it happens again. Not all the times. May be that's why Networked computers are up 24 * 7 to avoid these kind of problems).

Thank again Will,

McoreD

Um odd, I'm not having that problem.

Maybe the PII 400MHz is slowing everything down. I dont know, never done this with anything lower than a P3 600mhz. And 64mb or ram.

But anyways see what happens if you disable both firewalls.

You can also run the Home Networking Wizard again and see what happens. Maybe it will be forced to use the new settings that the reg and inf files change. Don't know. Dont remember since I'm not doing any of this at the moment.
